I did some checking around and found that, _Principles of Information Systems for Management_, the book I mentioned in my "How to Automate" message, came out in it's fourth edition this year. This should alleviate any concern about citing a older text. There is a bit of confusion, however when consulting _Books in Print_. The first edition was by Niv Ahituv and Seev Neumann. _Books in Print spells author's name "Anitav" [et al]. The book is published by Wm. C. Brown Company, Dubuque, Iowa. through its Business and Educational Technologies division. Telephone 319-588-1451.
BTW: I have been using the Macintosh relational database Helix Express (and its prior incarnations) since 1985 or 1986. It uses icons to represent programming code so you do not have to learn a programming language. Its most salient feature may be the posting function, which automatically enters (as specified by you) data from the relation in which you are working into other relations that need the same data for relational lookups. This reduces data entry time and eliminates inaccurate information being entered into other relations that would subsequentially not be found in a relational lookup. (I hope that didn't sound too much like a documentation manual.)
