The library on our campus is interested in scanning a number of documents, storing them on computer disk, and making these images available online. Does anyone have recommedations as to hardware and software for this. I'm familiar with scanners, computer equipment, mosaic, etc. but wonder if there is special purpose equipment for this. I believe that Xerox and Cannon may have such systems. If not too much trouble, please reply to me directly so as to not fill the list with unnecessary traffic. thanks!
