The Educational Media & Technologies Section(EMTS) of the Medical Library
Association is sponsoring a program on large digital image collections
related to healh sciences at the Medical Library Association annual
meeting in May of 1995, in Washington, D.C.

Having one speaker already confirmed for this program (Dr. Michael Ackerman of the National Library of Medicine, talking about the Visable Human project), we would like to find a speaker that could articulate the merits of Photo-CD as a storage/archive medium for large image colections.

Could someone recommend a decent speaker on this topic? If you nominate yourself, provide a reference or two who can vouch for your presentation skill.

The MLA annual meeting attracts approximately 2,200 information professionals from various health sciences disciplines. This year, the International Congress of Medical Librarians is being held in conjunction with the MLA meeting, so many foreign information professionals will be attending the activity.

Please Email me directly with recommendations. Thanks,
