I have Photoshop 2.5. When I save a tiff file and try to run
Omnipage over it for OCR it doesn't pick up any of the characters. A
comparion of the files, the one I scanned in and the sample that came
with Omnipage, shows that they are both TIFF, Type B, but the one that
came with Omnipage is compressed as type 3. I realize that there are
different flavors of TIFFs and the problem is that Omnipage doesn't
recognize the Photoshop "flavor". Question: Does anyone know of a
conversion utility that will let me make phtoshop tiff scans
recognizable to Omnipage. Essentially, we need a way of moving between
the various tiff formats. Suggestions?
