Hi Y'all,

I've just answered my own question by phoning DCI Incortporated in California, America this morning, and I'm running around the office showing off my new American accent. I spoke to Leo from EmbARK technical support and there is no problem with loading text records without images, as many people have not loaded their images yet. He also reassured me that they are following up the copyright angle. if you reassure suppliers that your images are simply for catalogue purposes and cannot be reproduced in any form they usually give permission for you to scan the image. I'll renegotiate with suppliers and let you know how we fare. I'm now feeling very positive. Also they are looking into the copyright ramifications of reproduction of the image, as it is in their interests to follow this up. This issue remains very nebulous at present. All in all I am left with a feeling of being looked after by EmbARK. Full steam ahead now for us!

Ciao
