No, I agree entirely-- we actually do have an 'archive' that consists of PhotoCDs that we store carefully. The hard drive is just for access to images that we've edited for color correction and levels in Photoshop; image compression is actually handled within our database. Unfortunately we're far away from the days when redundancy will no longer be necessary, I think.
