UPDATE ON THE CLEARINGHOUSE


Our newest entry is Connecticut College's "Durer's APOCALYPSE" covering the
discipline of Art, specifically prints. It includes: "hi-res 290K large files
are larger than life-size. The digital images offer rich detail not possible
in paper-based reproductions in books."  You will find it listed under
Institutions, A-H -- Connecticut College, and the Media--Objects,
Prints, Artwork, ... -- Connecticut College.


  We have over 100 entries in the Clearinghouse of Image Databases. If you have
a new entry or update to an existing entry, I will be glad to add it.
There is an easy to use form available for submitting entries at

ACCESSING THE CLEARINGHOUSE


1.Connect to the Clearinghouse from the U.A. Library's Web
server. Set a bookmark once there and you will have easy access to it.

click on - Connect to the Clearinghouse of Image Databases


2. Telnet access:  Telnet to the University of Arizona's library
information system, SABIO.


  1)  telnet sabio.arizona.edu and login as sabio
  2)  From the main menu, select
       3> Internet (World Wide Web, other library catalogs and
              other information resources including UAInfo
  3)   1>  World Wide Web
  4)  Select INTERNET INFORMATION RESOURCES
  5)  Select UA LIBRARY WWW EXHIBITS AND IMAGING PROJECTS -- Projects
  6)  Select Connect to the Clearinghouse of Image Databases
