The library has a Minolta that just went into operation. It does a good job generally, but I have some doubts about its utility for Special Collections because 1) size limitation...I have forgotten the max, but it is a little smaller than all my priority items. 2) Bi-tonal scans don't seem adequate for Spec. Coll type things 3) the curve correction algorithm is better than nothing, but doesn't eliminate curves entirely.Close, but no cigar.
