Look for work by Sam(antha) Hastings from Univ. North Texas,
Corinne Jorgensen SUNY Buffalo, James Turner from Univ of Montreal, or
Mark Rorvig from UNT and NASA. You should also check out Markey
(Drabbenstott sp?) from Univ of Mich. Some JASIS and IP&M issues have
related items. Also ASIS proceedings include such topics. ASIS SIG IR
proceedings include this topic also.
Work thru OCLC on metadata platforms from meetings at Warwick and
Dublin are relevant here, too.
I assume you are familiar with the Art and Architecture thesaurus,
and metadata for geospatial data from the FGDC and GILS.
