Could you folks help me with some of these questions?

1. Is tiff format standard in the industry for storage? 2. Is tiff 4 version too basic or standard used in other Schools? 3. Is 1:2 compression ratio standard? 4. My vendor tells me with 200 dpi (which he offers) we will store 25,000 standard docs per gig. 5. How is 200 resolution for Transcripts? 6. We have this debate of RAID vs CD-Rom. What do you recomend? 7. What capacity? How many platters? drives? 8. We will intially process 100,000 - 150,000 records per year (low) 9. Any ideas where we should post our add for Imaging RFP? I have some local vendors. Are there any trade specific journals I can post to?

Thank you for your response. Shikha
