I've had very good success with our Yamaha 6x writer CD R/W (Mac SCSI) unit.
I bought Yamaha based on reports from colleagues about their satisfaction
with Yamaha units.
I haven't had any problems after having burnt over 50 (Smart and Friendly)
CDs in the last 6 months.
