Hello - the Library of Virginia has more than 30 separate bibliographic
databases for our Digital Library Program, and many of those databases
have images linked to each record via the 856 field. Each individual
document or photograph image has a catalog record. Please see
http://www.lva.lib.va.us/dlp - examples of these databases
can be found under the Virginia History and Culture heading, such
as the Colonial Records Project, WPA Life Histories, or 1939
World's Fair photograph collection.
