I have found the posting via the listserve of new sites very useful, it is one of the few ways of finding out about new
nitiatives of institutions worldwide. Especially from down in this corner of the Pacific!
I would like to keep updated with new postings.
Stuart

Hello Imagelib'ers,
I am posting this message to ask for your input on whether to continue
maintaining the Clearinghouse of Image Databases
http://www.library.arizona.edu/clearinghouse/
The Clearinghouse has been a companion resource to IMAGELIB since its
inception in the mid-90s. Over the past couple years, I've wondered
whether the Clearinghouse should continue. It's not much work for me, so
that is not an issue. Rather, because of the limited number of
submissions the past couple years, the abundance of high quality search
engines, and our ability to post announcements/queries to IMAGELIB, can
you suggest reasons to continue maintaining the Clearinghouse?
I would appreciate messages either to the listserv or directly to me
mailto:(stuartg@u.arizona.edu) over the next week or two.
Thanks, Stuart
