We are using an HP3c flatbed scanner to scan original photographs.
I am concerned about the light source of the scanner and its effects
on albumen and other light sensitive photographic prints that are
scanned. The manual says the light source is florescent. Has anyone
looked into this issue? Is there a photo conservation listserv I could
     post to?

Thanks in advance for you replies.
