Jean,I am employed by the Sirsi Corporation, which produces a Digital Media Archive product that operates in conjunction with its Unicorn library automation system.
This combination provides a facility for capturing and hyper- linking digital media to the library's online public access (and other) catalogs. These catalogs may contain a variety of record formats, including USMARC, and the linked media may be individual files or organized collections of files.
Users may access the catalogs and the attached digital media using standard Internet browser technology or a supplied graphical user interface.
