OCLC will load Union List data (including serials holdings of Missouri libraries) into a database to be available through FirstSearch in Summer 1997.

More than 7 million holding records linked to 750,000 titles will be contained in this database. Searchable fields will include library symbol or name, state, and 4-character union list symbol as well as standard FirstSearch access points. The hit list will display serial title, format (i.e. paper, microfiche, elecrronic) and holding library symnbol or name. From the record display users will be able to retrieve a list of libraries in their state or region that hold a specific title.
