FYI. Probably old news to most of the members of this list, but I thought the publicity was interesting.

      -- General Announcement --

Grolier Interactive and Grolier Educational Announce Missouri's Choice
of the Grolier Online Reference Collection

After a competitive search for a `high-end, general purpose, online
encyclopedia,' the Missouri Research and Educational Network, or
MOREnet, selected the Grolier Online Reference Collection for their
consortium of members, which includes 525 public school districts, 150
public library districts, 47 higher education institutions, as well as
     other state agencies.

The Grolier Online Reference Collection offers access to two of
America's largest, most respected and authoritative encyclopedias -
the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia (http://gme.grolier.com) and the
Encyclopedia Americana (http://ea.grolier.com) and - specifically
configured and supplemented for publication on the World Wide Web.

Explaining why the Grolier encyclopedias were selected, Tony Wening,
MOREnet's project director said, "Grolier is our top choice because
they scored the highest in our strict evaluation of the competing
online encyclopedias." The Grolier Online Reference Collection won
MOREnet's sought-after order by excelling in the key categories of
technical approach, access and Internet connectivity; and
functionality, including the important criteria of:

             * Breadth and quality of content
             * Ease of use and ease of training
             * Applicability across members.

The Grolier Online Reference Collection went live on MOREnet on June
     20.

     Thank You.
