LIBRARIAN OPENINGS

LIBRARIAN - GOVERNMENT INFORMATION

Course work or library experience working with government documents and/or maps highly preferred. Computer skills necessary as successful candidate will be working with a variety of commercial and government electronic resources including Internet. Will report to and assist the Manager of Government Information in reference work and other departmental projects.

LIBRARIAN - INFORMATION CENTER

Responsible for general reference assistance at the Information Center Desk and QUIC (telephone reference). Assist Manager of Information Center in handling Internet reference questions.

Both positions require a Masters in Library Science from an ALA accredited college or university. The ability to work with a variety of computer sources and assist customers in using many of these products/equipment; good communication skills, and a very strong commitment to public service.
