Olin Library, Washington University, has a temporary
(September 1997 - June 1998), part time ( Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) opening for a Reference librarian. Requisition Number 980008.

Duties: Provides reference assistance in the social sciences and humanities at the Olin Help Desk. Some participation in user education activities (i.e. tours and instruction sessions) may be required.

Requirements: MLS from an ALA accredited library school; degree in the social sciences or humanities; experience in academic library reference services; familiarity with electronic information technologies; reading knowledge of a foreign language desirable
