I am the new editor of Behavioral & Social Sciences Librarian and I'm looking for articles to be published in my 2nd issue. This is a peer reviewed journal, published by Haworth since 1979, and includes articles on all aspects of behavioral and social sciences information, with emphasis on librarians, libraries, and the users of such information.

The area of behavioral and social sciences is quite broad, and in the issue I just "put to bed" I included articles about a specialized library focusing on drug use/abuse; an evaluation of Chinese language periodicals and changes over time regarding western outlook & propaganda; how a librarian worked on helping to develop a state's mental health parity policy; a bibliography of English articles about Czech and Slovak libraries, and a couple technology related columns.

I'm sure that those of you in the St. Louis area have many ideas about articles you'd like to write, so please let me know if you'd like the
'author guidelines' for submitting material. The deadline for submitting for the next issue is November, so please start writing now!
