REFERENCE LIBRARIAN

The University of Missouri-St. Louis's Ward E. Barnes Library, serving primarily the Schools of Education, Optometry, and Nursing, seeks an individual to serve as a reference librarian.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide reference service, library instruction, assigned collection development, and assistance in circulation and interlibrary loan. Includes some evening and weekend hours.

REQUIRED: ALA-accredited MLS, experience in reference and electronic resources in an academic setting, a commitment to excellence, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Those received by March 29, 1999 will be given first consideration.
