Ralston Purina Company, the home of global pet care and recently ranked eleventh in Fortune magazine's global most-admired food industry companies, is interviewing candidates for the position of Library Technician. This position is in the state-of-the-art Library and Information Services Department located in downtown St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications include a four-year college degree from an accredited college; A. A. in Library Science helpful. Technician level library work especially in a corporate or special library is a plus. Equivalent education/experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will acquire serial titles and process claims for the Library as well as keep all documentation, electronic and paper, current on this process. Other duties include checking out and shelving Library materials. Another job duty is data entry for departmental transactions activity and for client chargeback. Some quick reference is also involved.

Agility with Microsoft Word, Lotus Notes, the EOSi GLAS system and the Internet are important.
