We are planning to replace our OPAC terminals with PCs. We are considering offering web access to our catalogue (Innopac), the internet (definitely), and various ERL, CD-Plus, and other databases. Because the web interfaces tend to offer less functionality, we may also offer telnet and client software options. It's all in the melting pot at the moment. I'll post again when we decide !Designing a user-friendly client interface is also a problem, as it can't all be web-based if we offer client software such as Win-Spirs.
I have also been reading the "Search histories" thread with interest.
