Hello,

Please reply to the author not the list.

I and some collegues are writing a book about current WWW search engines like Lycos, Open Text, Web Crawler etc. We are all familiar with the various shortcomings of the current web search engines and the difficulties involved with finding web resources. We would like to know what information you would like to have about the existing search engines and how they work.

What do you like about them?

What do you dislike about them?

What improvements would you like to see?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you,
