Win-Spirs is simply SilverPlatter's client software. It allows you to provide access to SilverPlatter ERL databases via a WWW hyperlink. You can even make a link on a WWW page perform a search in an ERL database. Great for hot topics and current awareness.We have created one page with database descriptions for all databases accessed via FirstSearch, ERL, CARL, and other Internet means...
And when our OPAC is on the Web (we have an III system), we'll be able to put it all together a lot more nicely, I think.
It can all be web-based.... but you still are going to have to know how to use other client software.
