I parenthetically wonder if anyone here has any reactions to the
pheasability of implementing a scheme such as OCLC's proposed PURL
system..  Anyone who's not looked through this notion can find the server
at http://purl.oclc.org  ... I'd be curious to hear reactions to this notion.
