David, I have been playing around with CONMAN (which is an alpha version, or
maybe only a developer's tool) and have modified the long view of the WebPAC
display by adding elements. I don't really know what I am doing - I was just
fiddling to see how things work. I downloaded the .cfm file, added a field
using CONMAN, and uploaded the .cfm, then the long view did indeed reflect
my added field.

I don't really understand enough about Z39.50 configuration to be a whole lot of help, but you can give me a ring on Monday. I won't be around today because I'm presenting at the same Z39.50 conference as Fred Martz.
