Please excuse any duplication from cross-posting. KE Software Inc. (formerly Dingo Software Systems Inc.) has two announcements to make.1. Less Important Announcement
Much to my surprise, we continue to receive regular inquiries about our DOS-based (yes, DOS) terminal emulation software called DOS Tunix. We used to sell DOS Tunix as a telnet front end to our KE Texpress database system. DOS Tunix includes a DOS-based TCP/IP stack, support for multiple network protocols, serial drivers and dialup capabilities. We have now decided to place DOS Tunix in the public domain. We offer no support for DOS Tunix whatsoever, except on a prepaid time and materials basis. DOS Tunix and documentation is available from our ftp site:
ftp.kesoftware.com/pub/dos
Information about the KE Texpress database (which we do support!) is available at www.kesoftware.com.
2. More Important (for us) Announcement
Dingo Software Systems Inc. of Vancouver, BC, head North American representative for the KE Texpress line of database products, has changed its name to KE Software Inc. The new name represents our continued and exclusive commitment to the KE Texpress line of products and a merger of operations with Knowledge Engineering of Melbourne, Australia, the developers of KE Texpress. Further details are available on our Web site.
